Refund & Cancellation Policy

Items on ThemeHarvest are digital and delivered instantly, so an order cannot be cancelled once the download is available. We still want you to be happy with what you buy: you can get a refund in the cases below if you request it within 15 days of purchase.

When you can get a refund

  • The item does not work as described, or has a defect the author cannot fix within a reasonable time.
  • The item has a security vulnerability that the author does not fix.
  • The item description, preview or demo was materially misleading.
  • The author does not provide the support promised on the item page.
  • You were charged twice for the same item, or charged for an order that failed.
  • The item is removed for copyright reasons shortly after your purchase.

When a refund is usually not given

  • You changed your mind or no longer need the item, after downloading it.
  • You bought the wrong item or license by mistake and have downloaded it (contact us first — we may be able to switch it).
  • You do not have the skills, software or server listed in the item requirements.
  • You want features the item never claimed to have.
  • The request is made after 15 days.

How to request a refund

  1. Go to Account → Purchases and click Request refund next to the item.
  2. Explain the problem (screenshots help). The author can respond and try to fix it.
  3. Our team decides, usually within 5 working days, and informs you by email.

How you receive the money

  • Approved refunds are credited to your ThemeHarvest wallet immediately, or to your original payment method on request (banks may take 5–10 working days).
  • The item price and taxes are refunded. Payment-processing or handling fees charged by gateways may not be refundable unless the refund is our or the author's fault.
  • After a refund, the license and downloads for that item are revoked and you must stop using it.

Subscriptions and services

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and stay active until the end of the paid period; partly used periods are not refunded except where the law requires. Custom work (hire) payments are released to the author only after you accept delivery; disputes are decided by our team.

Fair use

To protect authors, accounts with an unusually high number of refund requests may be limited. Chargebacks without contacting us first may suspend the related licenses while the dispute is open.
