Payments, Fees & Taxes

This page explains how prices, payments, fees and taxes work on ThemeHarvest.

Prices and currencies

Item prices are set by authors in the site currency. For convenience, prices can be shown in your local currency using a daily exchange rate; at checkout you see the exact amount and currency you will be charged. Your bank may add its own foreign-exchange charges.

Payment methods

Depending on your country: UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets (India), international cards, PayPal, bank transfer, crypto and your ThemeHarvest wallet. Payments are processed by licensed payment partners over secure, encrypted connections; we never store your full card details. Card payments may require extra verification (OTP / 3-D Secure).

Fees at checkout

  • Payment-processing fee: some payment methods may carry a small fee that covers the gateway's charge. Where it applies, it is shown next to the payment method at checkout.
  • Handling fee: no handling fee is charged at present. If one is introduced, it will be shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Every fee is shown as a separate line at checkout, on your order page and on your invoice before you pay. No fee is charged on wallet payments for the payment method, and card surcharges are not applied where the law does not allow them (for example EU/UK consumers).

Taxes

  • India: GST is charged where applicable and shown at checkout. Business buyers can enter their GSTIN to get a GST invoice.
  • EU / UK and other countries: VAT or local digital-services tax is charged where we are required to, based on your billing country. Businesses with a valid VAT number may be exempt (reverse charge).
  • Prices shown before checkout may exclude taxes; the final amount always includes them.

Billing details and invoices

On your first purchase we ask for your name, address, country and postal/PIN code. They are printed on your invoice, which you can download any time from your order page. Please make sure they are correct; invoices cannot be re-issued to a different person after the tax period closes.

Failed or duplicate payments

If money was deducted but your order is not marked paid, it is usually confirmed automatically within minutes. Otherwise contact us with the payment reference — amounts not matched to an order are returned by the gateway, normally within 5–10 working days.

Author earnings, platform fees, tax deducted at source (TDS on e-commerce sales, where applicable) and payout rules are described in the Author agreement.
